Cookie Policy
How cookies are used on our website
This policy explains how Dhöm Bistro uses cookies and similar technologies on its website, what they do and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, tablet or mobile device when you visit a website. They may allow a website to function, remember choices, maintain security or understand how services are used.
Similar technologies, such as local storage and tracking identifiers, may perform related functions. References to cookies in this policy include these technologies where appropriate.
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies only where needed to operate and secure the website, remember cookie choices or provide optional external content that you choose to view.
Strictly necessary cookies may operate without consent because the website cannot provide the requested function securely without them.
Optional cookies and external services are not intended to load until you have made an affirmative choice through the website’s cookie banner.

Google may receive your IP address, device information and set cookies when the map is loaded. | Session cookies and persistent cookies of up to approximately 13 months, depending on Google’s settings and your existing Google preferences. | Consent required |

| Advertising and tracking | Not currently used | The website does not currently use advertising pixels, remarketing cookies or social-media tracking pixels. | Not applicable | Not currently used |
Exact cookie names may vary depending on the WordPress, hosting, security and cookie-consent tools active on the website. This table should be updated if those tools change.
4. Google Maps
The Contact page may contain an embedded Google Map. Google Maps is a third-party service and may use cookies or similar technologies when loaded.
The map should remain blocked until you accept the relevant external-media or functional cookie category. If you do not consent, you can still use the address shown on the website or open directions through a separate link.
Google controls its own cookies and data processing. More information is available in Google’s cookie information and Google’s Privacy Policy .
5. Social media links
The website contains ordinary links to Dhöm Bistro’s Instagram, TikTok and Facebook profiles.
A standard link does not itself require a social-media tracking cookie. When you click a link and visit a social-media platform, that platform may collect information and use its own cookies under its privacy and cookie policies.
We do not currently embed social-media feeds or tracking pixels directly into the website.
6. Giving and withdrawing consent
When optional cookies are used, the cookie banner should allow you to:
- Accept optional cookies.
- Reject optional cookies.
- Choose individual cookie categories.
Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent you from accessing the basic website. Some optional features, such as the embedded Google Map, may remain unavailable until consent is given.
You may withdraw or change your choice at any time through the website’s Cookie Settings control. You can also clear the website’s cookies through your browser and reload the page to make a new choice.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow you to review, delete or block cookies through their privacy or security settings. You can normally:
- Delete cookies already stored on your device.
- Block all cookies or selected third-party cookies.
- Allow cookies only for chosen websites.
- Clear cookies when the browser closes.
Blocking all cookies may affect essential website functions or prevent your preferences from being remembered.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when website features, cookie tools, external services or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
